Troy Aviation Inc. is the only Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at the East
Troy Municipal Airport in Southeast Wisconsin. In addition to offering
conventional FBO services (fuel, open lobby, charts, supplies, oil,
light maintenance), we are also one of the rare FBOs in the
country which offers all of the following:
1. In addition to Private Pilot, we teach a pure Light Sport curriculum.
2. We rent Light Sport Aircraft to pilots who hold only a Light Sport license. (Many FBO's require their LSA renters to have a full-blown Private Pilot license. Of course, we rent to Private Pilots, too!)
3. Our insurance policy does not require an FAA medical to train in, solo, or rent our Light Sport Aircraft. (Many insurance companies require that the renter has an FAA medical certificate.)
4. We have a new, in-ground self-service MoGas fuel system dispensing 93-octane unleaded auto fuel -- great news for transient Light Sport Pilots who need the best fuel for their Rotax aircraft engines.
